2 PIPS for me this morning, but I was a little too cautious maybe, could easily have had a pile, but there you go.

In the last few months I think I've covered most scenarios of trading with this strategy and I hope it will help all of you that decide to take this approach.

And so it is getting a bit tedious posting things like I had 2 pips, I had 7 pips on a regular basis, there is no analysis to do as such, so I won't be posting regularly from now on, but any points of interest that may be useful I will.

Not On

Easy trading today, the market was just too jumpy, so nothing doing.

STOP!

I hate Easter! I had a 0.7 PIP and a loss of 3 - BAD, totally bad, it's the long break, so that makes me near as damn it to break even this week, I've been here before, but for the first time this year, I'm suspending live trading until next week.

Spreads have been tighter on Oanda in the morning sooner but today it was wider at lunchtime, this means something is different, and I should have sat it out, especially after the poor trading I did yesterday, I was just not happy with it at all.

Anyway, been here before, stop trading, and Practice what I preach, and practice practice practice, so I'll be on my simulator until next week.

So next update will be next week, when I will have re-honed my skill and be ready to go again.

Must Do Better

Nice big moves his morning, they may not have been tradeable but I didn't feel my concentration levels quite there this morning so I think I probably missed out, it'll be because of the long weekend, so made nearly 1 this morning, then lost nearly 1, and finished with nearly 3!

A really Odd day, But GOOD!

0.5 and 0.2 this morning, this is a big part of this strategy, any hesitation in the move come out.

Another 0.2 and then 10+ this NY session.

I'm quite happy with that, makes nearly 4% on the week (loosely calculated)

Expecting News at 12.30 I didn't pay attention until 12:35 when I realised I hadn't changed the clock on Forexfactory, what a div! Anyway just over 2 PIPS to start the week off, market went really jumpy after 1, so I stopped.

Karma Chameleons

10 minutes trading this morning! 7 PIPS, that never happens, well obviously it does 'cos it just did, the Forex Karma must be with me, but just remember it can so easily change!

So what's that for the week, I'll call it 20 it's close enough, a very pleasing 6%+ return, back of the net methinks.

3 More PIPS

Just over 3 pips on the NY open, I think I'll trade tomorrow, I don't normally, but it's been one of those weeks when trading conditions have been good, but difficult to nail some opportunities, so the conditions may still be good, and opportunities might arise.

There was only a small trading window today with all the news this morning, I snuck in 2 PIPS before the Budget speech.

Lost a half Gained a PIP

A loser, when you get slippage, there's nothing you can do about it, it's a fact of trading, so I lost a PIP, but I had another trade and got a pip, the market was good but not that good. Nothing Ventured nothing gained, and more important NOTHING LOST.

No trades this morning, but it bodes very well for this week, some good volatility, good movements, it's been a while since I've seen such activity, hopefully it'll end up a very profitable week.

Note to 'newbies' markets like this morning can be really tough for the inexperienced, the market seems to move but you just didn't manage to get in, I think if I was a little sharper this morning I could have been 9 PIPS up, but you have to think, when it's gone, it's gone.

What a great little session

Had 2 trades 0.9 PIPS and 4.8 PIPS, that's the best start to the week for a long while.

15 PIPS for the week

No trades today, a little disappointing  not to have another one to go nicely above my averageish since it's been well below recently, but not to worry, it's a good return over 4% this week.

Heading for a good week

Another nice little trade this morning 2.7 PIPS, looking to be quite a good week, about time an' all, this is what can make it so difficult for beginners, I have had nearly 3 weeks with nearly nothing for one reason and another, until you accept that this is what trading is like you will find it hard to be consistent.

Well not quite but a 3.9 and a 4.2, a handy session, didn't trade until 12:40 because of the News, then 2 trades in half an hour - things are looking up.

Spread didn't tighten this morning and the market behaved like it normally does when it doesn't - if you get my drift - a bit jumpy.

Patience Pays, it's been a while since I had a decent trade, but sometimes you have to be prepared for a month of it, and then at a drop of a hat your getting loads in every week. Wait for the market.

Computer Malfunction

Well that was an eventful session, at least it was for me, don't know what happened, my broadband, the computer or both went mad, oh well, there's no way I'll trade tomorrow, I'll wait till I've got  fresh and clear mind for Monday NY open.

What a slow week.

Spread opened from 2.4 to 4 pips, it went back, but I never trade when I see anything untoward.

Quiet again

No trade, I'm sure that's the quietest Wednesday afternoon sessions for awhile, even after bearing in mind that it's quiet on the news front as it it normally for the first full week of the month.

A little frustrating this morning

I'm pretty sure I just missed out today, 6 - 7 PIPS were on offer, but then again if in doubt stay out, I've still got my cash, my psychology videos on the website was a great help to stop that 'regret' thing going on and accept it's all part of trading, for heavens sake how much profit do you expect to make, and do you really expect to be able to trade every single move you see!!?

Well that used to be the case, but now it's a -0.1, that is one of the key things that I found so hard to do with this strategy, if it stalls just get out, I actually think I was a little to impatient this morning, but no major problems, finish the week now, back refreshed on Monday Afternoon.

For the week a total of 10 pips(ish) 3%ish, could have been better this week really, my concentration levels haven't been what they are normally.

I'm sure I missed a nice opportunity to get about 4 PIPS this morning, but as I say - If in doubt stay out, it may go right this morning but we don't want to be doing stuff that may or may not turn out, in the end I had  PIP a little later.

Had 6.7 PIPS, will cut my session short and reward myself with the rest of the day off from trading, less than an hour for both sessions today and a total of  8ish, half way through the week and halfway where I like to get, I do have a target, but I don't aim for it.

Just the One

1  PIP this morning, and I was pretty sharp to get it, you do need mega high levels of concentration for the small amount of time you're trading.

Two and a Half

Yes 2.5 pips, first trade of the week, a real easy one to identify, we could well be in for some great trading conditions for this strategy over the next few weeks if the pound keeps dropping.

When, how and by how much does not concern me at all, all i know is that a good trend provides great trading conditions for what I do without having to worry about where to get in and out etc etc etc.

A quiet start to the week?

Well, spreads were a little higher on Oanda today, surely a sign of tighter liquidity, the start of the next dip of the recession, who knows?

Did not trade, when things change, I sit it out a session  and observe, just a case of being cautious.

Nothing today, price was bouncing all over the place, so much so I cut my session short, if the market is jittery, make the decision not to trade and log off, save your energy.

Nothing to report today, had some family stuff to attend to and I often don't bother with Monday mornings, this is what's great about trading, you can take time off whenever you want too (within reason of course, you couldn't take time off forever).

You need to be thinking from the offset that you won't miss anything that's going to be life changing because you missed a trading session.

2.5 and 3.8 PIPS, that'll do for the week, it barely makes 2%, but remember to put it in perspective, even 2% is a substantial profit if you put it in context of Financial products in general, and remember to bear in mind that this is a rather barren week!

Still No Trades

Had a friend over for lunch, so still nothing this week, this is just all a part of it, sometimes you get a quiet week just as in any other business, it's just that it's the quietest for me since Christmas, the second week I started the Blog and there's nothing to report, it's always the case!

See what happens tomorrow, if I'm still on virtually nothing by the end of tomorrow, I may even consider trading on Friday, but only if the weather is nice!!!

The Drought Continues

No trades again this morning, the morning session has been hardly worth bothering with recently, still no trades this week, this is what trading is all about, waiting, waiting and waiting until the right opportunity comes along.

There is no point trying to enter trades if the market is not moving, you are so very likely to just loose your money.

I missed the Button!!

O dear I lost out on 2 PIPS, my mouse slipped! it does happen now and again, even to the best of us, so only 1 PIP from that and then another PIP, that's enough for this week - a total of about 17 PIPS! - Near enough 5% profit this week for me - lovely stuff.

4 PIPS!

Nearly the end of the week, it will be tomorrow for me, unless I do the unthinkable and trade a loss, perish the thought.

Had 4 PIPS this lunchtime, so it's enough for the week, I would like a few more, nbut I'm not bothered.

The market was a little jittery this morning, it's always the case that if you have 1 losing trade you need 2 to get ahead rather than the original 1, so I err on the side of caution, would you not rather be always looking for 1 more trade rather than 2?

So far so good!

Nearly half way through the week and I'm nearly half way to where I like to be every week, 6 PIPS so far, and I've been trading for nearly 3 hours in total.

A pip a day!

1 PIP this morning, you may laugh!, but are you making consistent FOREX profits? I only lose 1 trade in 10 at MOST, by the end of the week I'll have more than 10 pips and that's enough to grow a modest amount of capital.

Right OK - so what's the system? - it's very very simple. I use 4 pairs to determine market movement and trade the GBPUSD, I make a few pips each time and it's easy, stress free and does not take much time, Oh and most of all it's very profitable.

Great isn't it, I don't care what I get now, nothing is quite common it means I haven't lost anything!

The thing is about this is that I'm free all afternoon now, my trading is done. I know I will get over 10 PIPS by the end of the week, and with my strategy it's enough to earn a living on a very modest amount of money.

A half a pip this morning, I don't expect anything on Monday mornings normally but trading conditions were pretty good.

A half a pip may not seem much, but I hardly ever have losses, so a good start to the week again.
